How it works
A flooded mine is a slow, stable thermal reservoir — mine-water heat pumps can serve nearby district networks year-round. Disturbed land with grid connections is ready ground for solar and storage. Heat rejected by methane oxidation is captured rather than vented. Each system is adopted only where the site's own conditions support it; no technology is deployed for its own sake.
